Blog Update

Introduction

If you haven’t noticed, the page has gone through a 2 week long hiatus. The reason why is a combination of business and personal reasons. Without getting too deep into detail I’ll share the biggest factors of my absence. In addition to this, I’ll give you a preview of what to come in the future.

On The Business Side…

My self-made company kicked off officially last May after my year and a half long break from college. I suddenly became more ambitious and regained the passion I once had in my academic days. I reached out to local businesses which resulted in being over all well received. Nowadays I’m designing logos and websites from the comfort of my own home. The only issue I’m currently facing is my company name going through construction. Fellow graphic artist Josh Sullivan already claims the “Josh Comics” title. There is no bad blood between content creators, he turns out to be very generous guy who is willing to support my business. Nothing is determined as of now but there may be a collaboration in the future. For right now I will keep the Josh Comics name; however to avoid confusion there will be a new name in the weeks to come.

On The Personal Side…

In the past couple of months my life possessed a major boost of energy along with motivation. I’ve become more social which led me back into the dating scene where I am meeting many talented individuals who support both my business and my creative spirit. Going out more indirectly caused a decline of blog posts, but this does not mean I have forgotten my true love for art. My ongoing success came in a package deal in the form of stress and anxiety. My mind started to flood with numerous ideas; this affected my sleeping pattern as well as physical health. The problem is now resolved with the help of research and medical care. Lastly, my sister was hospitalized for poor condition and possible surgery. I took a trip to New York City for a week to  help  take care of the family in her absence. Now she has returned home in a much better state. The summer season had only begun and I plan on traveling more; I will do my best to stay active on all social media pages, but expect short breaks every now and then.

What To Expect From Now On…

With all of that said, I am becoming more organized with my work. There are so many projects that I am currently planning. I have short stories, logos and even group projects in store for the next couple of months. In addition to my personal projects anything that is made through business request will also be posted. This will give any fellow businesses the opportunity to reach out to me which will allow me to help them and vice-versa. As mentioned earlier, there will be a massive makeover to this website. With a new name and design comes endless possibilities just waiting to be explored. I’m so excited for my future endeavors and I hope you are too!
